Choose lower calorie goodies. I still eat chocolate (daily), Tone Your Tummy but I limit it to 150 calories. That's 1 Peppermint Patty or 2 squares of Lindt 70% chocolate. I buy low fat, no-sugar ice cream that has up to half the fat and calories. Most of us nibble on things we shouldn't throughout the day. Doughnuts, candy, soda, you name it and all of it adds up to unwanted and unneeded calories. By keeping your jaw chewing, it gives your body something to work with and your mind satisfied. The fact that it also burns calories each hour is also a plus. Drink cold water. By drinking it cold instead of warm, you'll provide your body with the necessary steps to begin to burn calories. Your body must bring the cold water down to the same temperature as the body. By doing this, your body uses energy, and when energy is used calories are burned. If you really want to give your metabolism a kick start each day, drink a tall glass of cold water right when you wake up in the morning. You'll allow your body to start burning calories right away.
