The retina in the eye is a layer Eagle Eye 911 of cells that senses light. Laser eye surgery is actually aimed to reshape the cornea, so as to make the light entering the eye focus directly on the retina. In detail, the surgeon will cut a corneal flap and under it some corneal tissues will be removed in order to change its curvature.
