Introduction
Firmware updates for Sharp Blu-ray players optimize the performance of your device and address problems that became apparent after the player was built. Updating the firmware can also make the device more compatible with software and hardware released after the player was built, such as new audio codecs. You can update your Sharp Blu-ray player, if one is available, over Wi-Fi, or by downloading the file to your computer, transferring it to a flash drive and then connecting the flash drive to your Blu-ray player.
