This also helps in stabilizing blood sugar levels which is a very important route to prevent diabetes and to maintain optimum body weight.Our brain takes 20 minutes to realize that stomach is full, hence give optimum time to digest the food. Failure to do so results in overeating. Being overweight is one of the causes of diabetes. Hence keep the food portions small and have regular meals, rather than trying to hog the full day. It has been seen that eating in front of the television results in overeating, hence try to have your main meals with the family without any distraction to keep the food in control.
