The northern and western coast of the island is inhabited by a long series of mountains, the Tramuntana variety ("Serra de Tramuntana" or "Sierra de Tramuntana"), which reaches from Andratx to Cap Formentor. The Tramuntana range with its wild romantic and rough mountain surroundings, unusual shaped rocks, pine woods and high shoreline. |
